As a School Counsellor and a Primary Mental Health Worker at the present time, I work in academies and primary schools in East Sussex and Kent.

I seek to offer positive change to the thought process. By using creative & play therapy techniques alongside talking therapy to assist with positive future life choices and emotional development.

Group Work

Nurture Groups are formed of four children to ten young people  to help with issues relating to friendship, self esteem, divorce, attachment issues, loss and bereavement, anger and many other issues/problems

"The pupils who have been supported by Angie showed improvements in their concentration levels, their engagement in class and had less behavioural incidents. They reported that the protected the time that they spent being listened to was really special to them, providing a safe haven to off load worries and concerns, which in turn removed barriers to their learning. Thank you for helping our young people to move forward."

Jayne West Assistant Headteacher ARK Little Ridge Primary Academy

" A play experience is therapeutic because it provides a secure relationship between the child and the adult, so the child has the freedom and room to state himself in his own terms, exactly as he is at that moment in his own way and in his own time"

Canine Therapy

I offer Canine Therapy. If you've ever owned a pet, you already know how much fun and affection they can bring. But did you know that pets also come with some pretty powerful mental and physical health benefits? Dogs in particular can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness, and even improve your cardiovascular health. Caring for a dog can help children grow up more secure and active or provide valuable companionship for older adults. Perhaps most importantly, though, a dog can add real joy and unconditional love to your life.

Pig (the dog) and Nippy work with adults and children. See below in pictures. They are available at no extra charge for sessions where you would like to experience this type of therapy.

"You can discover more about a person in one hour of play than in a year of conversation"
